**Job Overview:**

Our Busy, Growing, Chiroptactic Clinic is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller, to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately billing patients and insurance companies, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining patient records. We are looking for someone who is honest, reliable, loyal, and trustworthy to manage the Insurance and Billing responsibilities in the office, as we work hard to help the community heal with the very best Chiropractic care! Excellent communication skills across multiple platforms is a must!

**Duties:**

- Review and verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors

- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies

- Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe

- Utilize medical collection strategies to minimize accounts receivable

- Process payments from insurance companies and patients

- Resolve billing issues and discrepancies

- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information

**Qualifications:**

- Proficiency in medical coding including ICD-9, ICD-10, DRG, and CPT codes

- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures

- Experience in medical billing and collections

- Familiarity with medical office operations

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
