Ohly has a great opportunity for an Accounting Specialist to join our team in Boyceville Wisconsin USA.
The Accounting Specialist is responsible for the duties as described below.
In this exciting role you will:
Accounts Receivable
  • Review aging accounts on monthly basis.
  • Post cash receipts to Accounts Receivable ledger.
  • Research Accounts Receivable short and late payments as needed.
Accounts Payable
  • Process Accounts Payable timely and accurately while maximizing cash flow.
Payroll Processing
  • Process hourly payroll according to established guide>Rlines in Paycom system and notify corporate Payroll Department of any changes.
  • Maintain union employees' schedules in the Paycom System.
  • Keep accurate records of employee's benefits, vacation, attendance occurrences as well as other time off such as sick time, holiday, etc.
Other Accounting and Administrative Duties
  • Administer commissions and maintain rebate accruals.
  • Process credit and debit memos.
  • Complete credit hold analysis.
  • Assist controller to prepare month-end accounts payable accruals and other journal entries as needed.
  • File invoices and ensure proper document retention policies are followed.
  • Assist as needed with setup of vendors and customers in ERP system.
  • Capex approval and set capex project up in ERP.
  • Serve as the Concur system SME and Administrator for Ohly Americas.
  • Assist with inventory counts for raw materials and finished goods as needed.
  • Order main office supplies and disperse mail as needed.
  • Business partnership/support across all departments as needed.
Safety
  • Actively participate in Ohly's safety program, follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.
You should have:
  • Working knowledge of AP/AR.
  • Strong excel skills.
  • Experience working in an ERP system.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong Business partnership.
Nice to have:
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related field.
  • Experience with MS Dynamics 365.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience preferred.
