Description of Duties and Responsibilities:

• Member of the Louisiana State Opioid Response (LaSOR) Program Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) team at SCLHSA.
• Complete initial screenings for program participants.
• Completes the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) while meeting all requirements and timeframes.
• Make appropriate recommendations and referrals based on needed level of care
• Demonstrate use of Naloxone Kits and provide basic information on substance use and opioid use disorders in particular.
• Participate in training for educating the public on communicable diseases
• Perform vitals on clients in the MOUD program
• Assist MOUD medical providers
• Participate in program recruitment and referrals
• Plan and coordinate the monitoring and reporting process, ensuring all required data and reports are submitted appropriately.
• Address program compliance issues with participants when necessary.
• Document all services referred and provided.

Qualifications for Position:

· Associate Degree in Nursing, Bachelor Degree in Nursing or Graduate from an accredited LPN or RN Program

· Licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Practical Nurse Examiners

· Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, the ability to represent the Agency in a highly professional manner and to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

• Good judgment, initiative, dependability, sound decision making skills, the ability to handle multiple responsibilities, strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to prioritize work and meet multiple deadlines.

· A valid driver’s license, proof of auto liability insurance and access to a reliable vehicle in safe operating condition with a current inspection sticker.ned.

Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
