Intake Process
- Application Review : Screen applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Initial Contact and Pre-Screening : Conduct brief phone or video calls to assess candidates’ interest and basic suitability.
- Formal Interview : Perform in-depth interviews to evaluate candidates’ skills, cultural fit, and motivations.
- Skills Assessment : Administer practical tests or tasks to measure candidates’ job-specific abilities.
- Reference and Background Checks : Verify candidates’ professional history and credentials through references and background checks.
DSPs assist with providing the individuals served with gaining, retaining or improving self-help, socialization and adaptive skills in the Community Day Services (CDS) Program.
– Assist individuals in activities within the CDS Program.
– Assist individuals with goals and tracking progress.
– Develop and implement meaningful group activities.
– Supervise community integration activities.
Requirements: Valid Driver’s License and a clear driving record; One or more years of on the job experience working with individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities; High School Diploma or equivalent; English reading/verbal/writing skills, math, interpersonal, organizational, ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Shifts Available: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
