Qualifications:

• Must be EPA certified.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Have strong verbal & written communication skills.
• At least 2 years of HVAC & Refrigeration commercial experience.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Physical Work Requirements & Conditions:

• Working from heights.
• Lifting to 80 lbs.
• Frequently climbing, bending, lifting, kneeling, stooping, and working/extending overhead.
• Working in adverse conditions (i.e., extreme cold, extreme hot).
• Climbing a ladder with a 300 lb weight limit while carrying a tool bag weighing approximately 20 lbs.
• Climbing a ladder up to 30 feet.

Responsibilities:

• Providing HVAC services.
• Identify repair and/or replacement needs.
• Install, repair, maintain, and upgrade HVAC systems and equipment.
• Have hands-on knowledge of HVAC systems (1-50 Tons), Commercial Refrigeration, Troubleshooting, and/or Digital Controls.
• Able to interact with clients to ensure satisfaction.
• Work cooperatively with others and work independently with little direction.
• Be able to competently handle a large vehicle (such as a van) including parking and backing up in tight spaces.
• Ability to learn multiple sizes and types of systems.
• Basic record-keeping techniques utilizing web-based applications on a mobile device.
• Utilize critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and exercises good judgment when completing tasks in an efficient and productive manner.

HVAC/R Service Technician Other Duties, Roles, and Responsibilities:

• HVAC/R Service Technicians maintain a clean vehicle and job site including site preparation and clean up.
• HVAC/R Service Technicians must own personal hand tools, meters, and gauges.
• HVAC/R Service Technicians maintain a professional appearance and demeanour with clients, co-workers, and subcontractors at all times.
• HVAC/R Service Technicians adhere to attendance policy with willingness to work additional hours as needed. Flexibility to work overtime/weekends/holidays, as necessary.
