CHIEF SCIENTIFIC OFFICER - EU OR US

I'm excited to be partnered with a well-funded biotech within the Immunology space, with multiple programs currently in the pipeline heading towards clinic.

After recent funding, the company are looking for a hands-on R&D leader to oversee all of the non-clinical development activities and lead the complex dermatology modalities through to IND.

This person would need to have presence in either Central Europe or the East Coast USA, as well as prior industry expertise within Dermatology and non-clinical development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the scientific research and non-clinical development teams
• Develop and implement scientific strategies to advance the therapeutic pipeline
• Oversee non-clinical development, including toxicology, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacology studies
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high quality, including collaborations with regulatory affairs to prepare and review IND documentation, ensuring all requirements are met.
• Represent the company at scientific conferences and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the biotech industry, alongside collaborating with CROs

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. 15 years industry experience within Pharma or Biotech
• Extensive experience within Immunology and Dermatology
• Dynamic, hand-on personalities that are passionate and proactive
• Proven track record in successfully leading research teams
• Strong understanding of pre-clinical development
• Excellent communication, and collaboration skills
