Children's Health of Carolina, PA is Hiring a Bilingual Scheduler Near Lumberton, NC
CHoC Corporate of looking for a bilingual phone operator. Hours are Monday Friday 8am - 5pm. This is a call center for five offices. Responsible for scheduling appointments for Lumberton, Pembroke, Raeford, and Fayetteville clinics.
Responsible for answering the telephone in a prompt and courteous manner, gathering pertinent information, and directing calls to the proper area/individual. Also serves as one of the main ambassadors of Children’s Health of Carolina, PA since they are often the first person those from the outside have contact with.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Receive all incoming calls in a prompt, courteous, efficient, and friendly (customer-focused manner.
· Obtain pertinent information quickly.
· When warranted, direct all calls to the appropriate department/individual.
· Identify potential emergencies and immediately direct them to the appropriate clinical team or provider.
· Make appointments with child’s primary provider. If the appointment cannot wait until the primary provider is available, it needs to be made with another provider on the team.
· All scheduled appointments must be confirmed and properly notated in the computer three days prior to the appointment.
· Reschedule all necessary appointments based on the monthly provider schedule.
· Make sure all provider schedules are blocked according to the provider schedule.
Qualifications:
· 1 year experience with patient scheduling for a medical office
· Excellent organizational skills,
· Excellent communication skills (oral and written),
· Ability to work with others in a tactful and diplomatic manner.
· Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, organized, and exemplify the attitude and manner of a team player.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
