Summary:
This position is a key contributor in the fast-paced Human Resource department with a focus on payroll, benefits administration, recruiting and supporting projects and initiatives and assisting with all aspects of Human Resource activities by performing the following duties:

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in a Human Resource or related field from an accredited four-year college or university; or one plus years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A HR certification is desirable.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills: Strong experience with HRIS, which includes benefits, payroll and timekeeping software (ADP) and MS Office software desired. Strong payroll processing experience required. Must have the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: PHR or SHRM certification is desirable, but not required.
Other Qualifications: Strong attention to detail, friendly and positive attitude, willingness to tackle new projects and challenges, ability to thrive in a very fast-paced environment and juggle multiple items, ability to work independently, a desire to grow and learn as a human resource professional. Manufacturing experience is also a plus.
