Parts Advisor

We are a fast paced heavy machinery dealership

Key Responsibilities of Parts Advisor

• All parts editing functions including but not limited to data entry for parts counter sales order, service work order, purchasing, and receiving
• Assist internal and external customers in identifying and satisfying their parts needs through electronic parts catalogs, other parts reference material to ensure delivery of the proper parts to the customer
• All warehouse functions including but not limited to picking & packing, shipping & receiving, issue incoming parts to counter, workshop, and inter-branches.
• Posts weight and shipping charges and maintains shipping record files
• Operate forklift occasionally to load/unload trucks
• Operate company vehicle as required for picking up and delivering parts and materials.
• Assist in annual physical inventory and cycle counting
• Assist in parts annual return to manufacturers/vendors
• Assists in general maintenance and cleanup of warehouse
• Participate in training to maintain and improve necessary technical, product and system knowledge
• Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude as well as presenting professional conduct and appearance at all times
• Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
• Perform other duties assigned by your supervisor

Qualifications for Parts Advisor

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Intermediate computer skills
• Strong customer relation and communication skills
• Industry experience is preferred
• Clean driving record

• Competitive base hourly wage depending on experience*

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:

• Parts sales: 1 year (Required)
• Basic computer skills: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
