Vicinity is seeking a Field Service Representative to join our team in Anchorage, Alaska. This position is part-time up to 29 hours per week. We encourage students to apply, as are happy to work with you on a flexible schedule while classes are in session.

This is an entry level position, which provides professional experience with a technology service provider (TSP) and business consulting organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year in customer service or retail position preferred.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Current drivers license and clean driving record.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Excellent time management skills.

What we expect from you

• Meet with clients at their place of business and assist them with receiving technical support.
• Actively listen to clients, understand their needs and document those requests in a service ticket.
• Proactively schedule appointments with clients.
• Act as a professional representative of our organization when working with our clients, prospective clients, fellow staff and the public.

What you expect from us

• Regular, part-time position
• Between $18 and $22 per hour, depending on experience
• Professional development and training on IT certifications including CompTIA A and CompTIA Network
• Opportunity to advance to Field Service Technician based on attainment of relevant technical certifications and experience
