Our client is experiencing rapid business growth and is expanding the engineering organization to capitalize on these opportunities. We are building more teams for Search, Payments, Admin, Travel Content etc. and are seeking a seasoned Backend and Frontend Staff Engineers for each team.

This role requires a hands-on approach to guide the technical direction and ensure high standards of code quality and architecture.

What you will do:

• Drive technical projects and provide leadership in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
• Be responsible for the detailed design, coding, and technical leadership within your team.
• Collaborate with other team members to innovate and refine the development process.
• Maintain high standards in software quality by establishing good practices and habits for coding and design reviews.
• Identify and address technical debt, and improve scalability and performance of existing systems.
• Work closely with Product and Design teams to define feature specifications and build the next generation of products.
• Engage in hiring and mentoring engineers, fostering an environment of growth and development within the team.

Qualifications:

• 8 years of experience in software engineering, ideally in web and mobile consumer applications.
• Strong computer science fundamentals, with a preference for a degree in computer science.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, high-growth environment.
• Excellent technical aptitude and a proven track record of architectural ownership and understanding.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex systems effectively and provide sound engineering solutions.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
