Job Description Blast Hazards Sales Manager - ( 2200102 ) **Description**

We provide services that help our clients face safety compliance shortfalls, understand risk, prioritize actions and improve overall safety and reliability. A proactive Safety, Risk and Compliance management strategy can help you reduce the risk of quality and reliability issues that could lead to equipment failures and avoid potentially catastrophic incidents.

Responsibilities:

* Functional lead selling services related to Blast Hazards services, primarily Consequence Modeling, Hazard Predictions, and Protective Design in support of ABS Group Extreme Loads & Structural Risk [ELSR] practice area

* Works with corporate professional sales organization and business unit seller-doers to drive growth

* Investigate, research, and analyze new market opportunities related to blast hazards

* Active role in the implementation of the business strategy with ELSR Sales Director and project management team including acquiring new business through outside sales (new business) and inside sales (add-on sales to existing clients)

* Lead, execute and drive sales strategies for ELSR offerings in the assigned area(s) of responsibility and meet or exceed individual and group sales targets and revenue forecasts

* Support development of proposals to present to existing clients and prospective new clients.

* Moves opportunities to closure with follow-up meetings, presentations and calls

* Maintains close relationship with key industry contacts including business partners, clients and prospective clients.

* Travels frequently to US-based clientele visiting existing and prospective clients.

* Assists in the set-up and attendance at trade shows, conferences, regional seminars and exhibitions, including but not limited to:

* Setting up the booth or exhibit

* Greeting visitors

* Promoting ABS Group solutions or products

* Maintains professional appearance at all times

Performs weekly updates of all sales activities in the global CRM system used by ABS Group, including but not limited to:

* Entering all new business opportunities

* Documenting all contacts as leads

* Updating status of existing opportunities

* Uploading any proposals and contracts related to the opportunities

* Entering trip reports for all visits to existing and prospective clients

**Qualifications**

* Prefer a degree in Engineering or other technical discipline and three (3) to five (5) years of previous sales experience

* Proven history navigating the complete sales lifecycle to include new client capture, proposal development, CRM tracking, contracting, and sales closure

* Experience working with A/E firms and EPCs

* Experience selling project work for engineering consultancy and/or specialty design engineering

* Ability to speak knowledgeably about Blast Hazards services, primarily Consequence Modeling, Hazard Predictions, and Protective Design

* Familiarity with CRM tools and engaging with contacts through professional networking sites (i.e. LinkedIn)

* Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Strong networking and influencing skills

* Must be willing to travel >50% of time
