Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Tax Associate. The purpose of the role is ensure our clients comply with IRS regulations and work to minimize their tax liabilities. This position requires the ability to effectively work with a team, prioritize workloads, follow all policies, procedures and responsibilities and regularly communicates information to team members.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

•Ensuring clients comply with IRS regulations and meet their state and federal tax obligations.

•Preparing and filing tax returns and work papers for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts.

•Calculating client income and producing tax withholding projections quarterly.

•Researching tax issues and assisting with tax audits.

•Analyzing and minimizing tax liabilities by implementing tax reduction strategies.

•Reviewing financial records, income statements, and expenditures.

•Consulting with clients, reviewing their tax information, and responding to questions and concerns.

•Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Attributes

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Taxation or related experience

•CPA Certification highly preferred

•2 years of direct experience

•Strong problem resolution skills

•Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy

•Exceptional organizational skills; ability to multi-task and follow up with and meet deadlines

•Experience with industry-specific tax planning so􀅌ware, such as Lacerte

•Self-motivated with the ability to handle a heavy workload and work both independently and under direction
