Adeptus Advisors, LLC, a growing full-service CPA firm, with offices in New York City, New Jersey, Long Island, White Plains, Maryland, and California is seeking an Associate Business Manager/Accountant for our DL Business Management division, located in New York City. Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply. We are seeking someone with a background in accounting who is passionate about working with music & entertainment industry clients. This position will support the account managers and Senior Business Managers in all aspects of their day-to-day responsibilities, while eventually learning to handle their own independent book of clients.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist account managers and Senior Business Managers with:

• Bookkeeping and bill pay
• Tax projections and compliance
• Concert tour accounting and budgets
• Existing client communication
• Prospective client pitches and general networking
• Applications
• Filing
• Excel schedules
• Invoicing and payment tracking

Requirements:

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Understanding of basic journal entry accounting
• Ability to organize, multi-task, prioritize and work well under pressure
• Willingness to take on new tasks and assignments when required
• Communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently, remotely and with limited supervision
• CPA not required initially but will be necessary for advancement opportunities within the firm
