Experience Level: 2 to 3 yearsJob OverviewAs a Junior Compliance Analyst at Augmentjobs, you will play a key role in supporting the company's compliance framework by ensuring that all activities adhere to legal and regulatory standards. You will assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of compliance policies, procedures, and practices. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and apply regulations.Key Responsibilities
- Compliance Monitoring: Assist in monitoring the company's compliance with internal policies and external regulations, including data protection, anti-money laundering (AML), and anti-bribery laws.
- Policy Development: Support the development and updating of compliance policies and procedures to ensure they align with current laws and regulations.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential compliance risks and recommend appropriate measures to mitigate them.
- Auditing and Reporting: Assist in internal audits and prepare reports on compliance activities, identifying any areas of concern.
- Training and Awareness: Help organize and deliver compliance training programs to educate employees on regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Document Management: Maintain and update compliance documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for auditing purposes.
- Incident Investigation: Assist in the investigation of compliance-related incidents and help implement corrective actions.
- Regulatory Updates: Keep abreast of changes in relevant laws and regulations, ensuring the company remains compliant with any updates.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as Legal and Risk Management, to ensure comprehensive compliance coverage.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in a compliance, legal, or regulatory role.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex regulations and apply them to company practices.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail in monitoring and auditing compliance activities.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex compliance information clearly.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks and propose solutions.
- Organization: Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Ethical Judgement: Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards and integrity.
- Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with compliance software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.
- Certifications: Professional certifications such as Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) or Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) are a plus.
