The salary range for this role is a good faith estimate, it is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid. The range may vary above or below the stated amounts.
- Learning and performing the day-to-day functions of Distributed Systems
- Assisting with basic maintenance activities as instructed and/or under supervision.
- Attend required training classes and highly engaged in mentoring opportunities.
- Performing Project Management Practices (PMP) processes required for projects and activities that are simple to medium in complexity.
- Monitoring and reporting of systems overall status to include risk management, capacity management, problem management, system administration, & disaster recovery.
- Bachelor Degree or completion of a Computer Science Program from a Technical Trade School is preferred. Successful completion of Infrastructure Concepts Learning Program is preferred for internal progressions. Training in ITIL, COBIT, and Agile is preferred.
- Minimum of two years' experience in I.T. infrastructure and/or application development is required.
- Knowledge of distributed systems architecture, operating systems and software; an ability to navigate Windows Server and Linux knowledge strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft O365 Applications to include Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word.
- Some SQL Server knowledge preferred on ability to write SQL Select Queries
- Service Now experience preferred.
- ITIL experience preferred.
- Continued technical growth in knowledge through formal education, certifications and experience working with other technicians.
