Job Description
Excellent opportunity for a Direct Hire position with a well-established midsize Real Estate/Accounting company located in Springfield, PA.
A day in the life of an Assistant Bookkeeper
- Handles the full cycle of accounting duties with concentration in General Ledger
- Assists in setting up AR billing systems and CPI Increase Tables
- Directly assists in bank reconciliations, general journal entries, general ledger reconciliation and financial statements
- Minimum 5 years accounting experience preferred
- Familiar with phases of payroll processing, processing Use/Occupancy tax, BPT Tax and Sales/Use Tax
- Must have thorough understanding of accounting and familiar with manual accounting system
- 100% On-site position, FT (M-F, 9-5 with additional hours during tax season)
