Job Description And DutiesTHIS POSITION MAY BE ELIGIBLE FOR A HYBRID WORK SCHEDULE. THE AMOUNT OF TELEWORK IS AT THE DISCRETION OF THE DEPARTMENT AND IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE AS BUSINESS NEEDS ARISE.THIS IS A BILINGUAL - SPANISH POSITION; MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BILINGUAL - SPANISH FLUENCY EXAMINATION.Do you want to help your fellow Californians by making a difference by providing career services and connecting with available community resources? If so, the Employment Development Department (EDD) is looking for a highly motivated individual that enjoys working with the public, identifies solutions in a team environment that offers a good challenge, and enjoys putting his/her communication, presentation, critical thinking, and problem solving skills to use. This is a Spanish bilingual permanent full-time position.
Under the supervision of the Employment Program Manager I, the incumbent will present information in a classroom, virtual environment, or outdoor setting. The incumbent will offer assistance to customers following prescribed Workforce Services (WS) policies and procedures, promote EDD services and/or programs within the workforce system, and work cooperatively with local partners in the America's Job Center of California (AJCC). The incumbent may be required to stand for up to 8 hours a day and perform presentations to employers and AJCC clients on work search-related topics and to inform EDD Workforce Services customers of AJCC programs and services.
Position is located in San Bernardino, CA. The incumbent for this position must be willing and able to work at any of the three given AJCC's within the Rancho Cucamonga Cluster to include: San Bernardino, Rancho Cucamonga, and Victorville. Business hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and candidate will be scheduled within these hours based on business needs.

Per the Governor's Office of California, the Employment Development Department is considered an essential department. This position requires local in-person workload, though some telework may be available.
