Professional supervisory work in the Community Services Department. Responsible for supervising either a Human Services branch office or Senior and Veteran Services' Case Management unit in an assigned area, and for the application of advanced social services knowledge and skills in evaluating public assistance, welfare services and/or senior services programs through the review of case records and staff reports. Work is performed under general supervision from an administrative superior and reviewed through conferences, reports and evaluation of results obtained.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology or other behavioral science; minimum of three (3) years of experience in social work or a related field including two (2) years of experience coordinating or supervising the work of others.

Equivalencies:

1. Unrelated Bachelor's Degree and four (4) years of related experience including two (2) years of experience coordinating or supervising the work of others

2. Related Associate's Degree and five (5) years of related experience including two (2) years of experience coordinating or supervising the work of others

3. Unrelated Associate's Degree and six (6) years of related experience including two (2) years of experience coordinating or supervising the work of others

4. Graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification and seven (7) years of related experience including two (2) years of experience coordinating or supervising the work of others.

PREFERENCE FOR EXPERIENCE: Working with senior citizens; using automated case management systems and preparing related management reports. Also desirable: Three (3) years of supervisory experience; bilingual (English/Spanish); related Master's Degree.

Valid Florida Driver's License and PBC Risk Management Department driving history approval prior to appointment.
