Cello Teacher

About the Company

Since 1987, we have been the Southern California place for music lessons. California Music Lessons has opportunities for qualified and passionate independent Voice, Violin, and Piano Teachers all over San Diego, San Bernardino, Riverside, Los Angeles, and Orange County. You control your schedule, teaching method, and ages you teach. We handle the rest. We are here to assist you with your teaching needs including billing questions, and advertising to help you grow your business.

Position Summary

  • Inspire a fun or regimented teaching style and become an integral part of the student’s appreciation, connection, and performing, with music.

  • Depending on your preference, you can teach beginner, intermediate, and/or advanced students.

  • This is a freelance position to supplement what you already are teaching currently. You will be able to incorporate your own teaching method. Also, we have additional teaching resources which you are welcome to use.

  • This is a remote position; you will be traveling to student’s homes, so reliable transportation is a must.

Minimum Requirements

  • One or more of the following: Degree or professional training, extensive performing, and/or teaching experience. (Current college students and/or musicians who pursued a music degree and didn’t finish are encouraged to apply)

  • Ability to teach another person how to play an instrument

  • Reliable interpersonal skills for one-on-one music lessons

Benefits and Wages

Pay Range begins at $35-$55 per hour, based on background and experience.
