Quick Facts:
The IBCLC/Prenatal Health Educator is responsible for providing safe, patient center care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating lactation plans for the breastfeeding/chest-feeding dyad, as well as for the pumping parent, and is fully collaborative with the patient, patient’s family, significant others, and members of the health care team. The IBCLC/Prenatal Educator is a member of the CPSP Enhanced Services team facilitating group instruction and individual education to pregnancy care patients at the Women’s Health Center, Baby Clinic and extended OB sites.
