HRIS Manager

Salary Range: $125-135K
Please note: This position is onsite. Therefore, we are considering candidates who live within a commutable distance from the facility. Relocation assistance is not available.
Position Overview:
The HRIS Manager will lead the management, functionality, and strategy of HRIS systems and processes. The role requires a dynamic blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and effective communication to enhance the service delivery of our HR operations and employee services. Working under the VP of Total Rewards, HRIS, and Payroll, the HRIS Manager will ensure our HR systems are efficient, scalable, and aligned with our business needs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the administration, configuration, and ongoing management of CJ Logistics’ HRIS systems to ensure optimal performance and utilization.
- Responsible for day-to-day HRIS queries, processing actions, and providing technical support, training, reporting, analysis, and guidance to users across the organization.
- Oversee all EDI and API interfaces within CJ Logistics’ HRIS systems with other solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data and/or system issues.
- Manage HRIS projects from inception through completion including planning, executing, and monitoring progress to ensure deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HRIS policies and procedures to improve efficiency and ensure data integrity and security.
- Create, generate, and analyze complex reports (i.e. EEO-1 filings), dashboards, and metrics to support strategic decision-making and report on HR metrics to senior management.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, Finance, and other departments to identify system improvement opportunities, automate processes, integrate systems, and enhance functionality.
- Complete K-SOX Audit requests throughout the year.
- Stay abreast of the latest HR technology trends and innovations, recommending upgrades or new systems to maintain a competitive edge.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications
- BA degree in HR, IT, Business Administration or related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in HRIS or related roles
- Proven track record of managing and implementing HR systems and projects
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Deep understanding of HR processes and data including payroll, benefits, talent management, and compliance
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with all levels of the organization
- Knowledge of HR regulations and compliance requirements
