This role is crucial in assembling, programming, and maintaining complex control panel systems that form the backbone of industrial automation.
Key Responsibilities:

• System Assembly and Installation: Skillfully assemble control panels adhering to specific blueprints involving PLCs, various electronic components, and wiring setups. Install these systems on-site, ensuring robust integration with existing technology.
• Programming and Configuration: Utilize your expert knowledge of ladder logic and other programming languages to tailor PLCs and HMIs for optimal performance. Establish seamless communication across controllers, I/O modules, and networks to uphold sophisticated operational sequences.
• Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct comprehensive tests to evaluate panel functionality and simulate operational conditions. Identify and resolve issues, enhancing system reliability and performance, guided by detailed diagnostic protocols.
• Maintenance and Upgrades: Engage in routine preventive maintenance and timely upgrades of automation systems to avoid operational downtime and incorporate cutting-edge technology, ensuring systems are future-ready.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere strictly to all relevant safety regulations and standards, from lock-out/tag-out protocols to compliance with NEC, NFPA, UL, CE, and other regulatory bodies.
• Documentation and Training: Maintain meticulous records of configurations, operational manuals, and troubleshooting actions. Empower on-site production personnel through targeted training sessions on modern interfaces and system navigation.
• Strategic Contributions: Provide essential input on automation project budgets, emerging technologies, and strategic improvements. Collaborate with engineers to refine control strategies and foster strong vendor relationships to enhance component sourcing efficiency.
• Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience in panel system assembly, programming, and maintenance.
• Fluent in programming PLCs and HMIs, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of current industry safety standards and regulatory compliance.
