Requirements: Enrolled Actuary - Experience with DB/DC - Cash Balance
We are looking for an Experienced Pension Actuary Consultant to join our team. In this role, the successful candidate will provide advisement and support services for clients with regard to their Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit plans. The consultant will be responsible for navigating complex pension calculations, employee data preparation, government filings, and plan designs.
What You Will Be Doing
- Perform actuarial calculations and retirement benefit calculations for plan sponsors.
- Determine plan design for Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit, Retiree Medical Plans, 401(k) Profit Sharing Plan, and Cash Balance Retirement Plan.
- Prepare employee data for account updates and government program filings.
- Perform Annual Statement Calculations (ASC).
- Provide advice and support to clients on their retirement plans.
- Communicate effectively with clients and consultants.
- Enrolled Actuary (EA) - required
- Experience with retirement plans, plan design, and government filings - required
- Experience with ASC calculations - nice to have
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Study time and materials for professional exams
