The Role:
The Deals Desk Manager is an exciting role that is very collaborative and works with the Sales team on large, complex, or discounted quotes to provide guidance and recommendations on deal pricing, commercial structure, and contract terms. This role is critical to driving profitability and keeping our Sales motion in line with Sauce Lab's financial and strategic objectives. Candidates must be located in the Bay Area .
Responsibilities:

• Function within the Revenue Operations department to drive GTM execution of revenue targets by being a trusted advisor to the Sales team on deal structure and quoting. Advise the team on alternative contract options, and/or value propositioning to help drive deal closure.
• Collaborate across departments and provide insights to drive strategic pricing initiatives across the company. This includes insights into competitive pricing, best practices for usage-based pricing models and subscription-based pricing models.
• Monitor and maintain the Deal Desk communication channels to provide general assistance and advice on common deal questions.
• Partners with the Sales team to accelerate the quoting process through operational efficiencies, enablement, and active participation in the operating rhythm of the business.

Required Skills:

• 2-3 years experience in a Deal Desk, Sales Operations, FP&A, or Pricing in Enterprise SaaS/B2B Industry
• Familiarity with subscription business models and usage-based pricing models
• Proficient (power user) knowledge and understanding of Salesforce CPQ. Includes understanding of subscription management, contracts, and dynamic approvals
• Proficient with excel and basic data analysis & data modeling
• Demonstrated ability to partner with GTM Teams and other cross functional departments
• Experience in Direct and Channel Sales model is highly desirable
• Highly organized, customer-focused, innovative and strong attention to details
• Excellent communicator, self-aware, transparent, professional, and open to feedback
• Ability to multitask and prioritize at times of high volume, schedule flexibility during End of Month, End or Quarter
• Basic understanding of revenue recognition rules

As a result, Saucers located near an office location must be able and willing to come into the office. Your base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience, along with its relationship to the base salaries of current team members at Sauce Labs that are similarly situated.
