Responsibilities
- The analyst will help track client investment portfolios using an industry leading software program and will interact with local government clients on a daily basis.
- The analyst will gather data from a wide variety of sources, enter that data into the system, verify its accuracy, generate reports, reconcile against the source data, and send final reports to clients.
- The analyst will be responsible for system account maintenance, adding new clients, and building out client reporting structure.
- The analyst will maintain and monitor portfolio data, build spreadsheets, automate data processing, seek methods to improve efficiency, and explore other avenues to enhance workflows and meet client demands.
- The analyst will work closely with clients to determine their specific needs, design reports that meet those needs, and instruct clients in the use of the Clearwater online reporting portal.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting preferred, experience may be an acceptable substitute
- The candidate must possess meticulous attention to detail.
- Must be detail-oriented with good organizational skills and possess at least a fundamental understanding of fixed-income investments.
- Strong computer skills with a high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel.
- Experience with an investment management software program is a plus. The analyst will be instructed on the Clearwater Analytics investment accounting and reporting system.
- The candidate must be able to manage time effectively in order to meet client reporting deadlines.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills are required.
- Creativity in investment report design is desirable.
