**About you:**
We are looking for an energetic front desk Lead Resident Liaison with top-notch client service skills to join our team at one of our premier luxury apartment communities located in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and excellent time management skills. The Lead Resident Liaison responds to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest's needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction. In addition, the Lead is responsible for managing the Resident Liaison team. This includes recruiting, performance management, creation, and maintenance of a 24-hour schedule, and supervision of the day-to-day activities of the front desk team.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
* Performs all managerial duties related to leading the team including approving time off, trains all employees in property management software, and resident services duties.
* Creates, updates, and maintains a 24-hours front desk schedule.
* Leads the recruiting process by reviewing resumes, interviewing candidates, and identifies the best-qualified candidate for the role.
* Provides excellent customer service to residents, prospects, vendors, and visitors. Learns resident names and anticipates resident needs and exceed expectations.
* Responsible for developing and updating customer service training as well as training the team in customer services/hospitality-related service standards including standing to greet guests with a smile, offering water, etc.
* Assists residents and vendors with keys and other administrative items.
* Meets with manager to discuss escalated issues and operational needs.
* Develops full knowledge of application information required to screen a prospective resident
* Assists and attends resident events hosted by the property team.
* Maintains exceptional standards of the leasing office, tour path, and model apartments.
* Promotes and participates in Company-sponsored training programs.
* Successfully completes all training provided by the company with regards to accounting, fair housing, marketing, leasing, customer service, etc.
* Complies with Company policies and procedures, safety rules and regulations, and all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
* Performs other duties as required.
**Qualifications:**
* High School Diploma required
* Associate Degree in Hospitality or Business Management preferred
* Experience leading a team preferred
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
* Demonstrate interpersonal skills and proficiency in business vocabulary to effectively represent the executive and the company to outside parties
* Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
* Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills
* Flexible schedule required which may include regular weekend hours
