Hope House is Hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) - Part-Time Near Albany, NY
Job Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly
Schedule: Part-Time - 24 Hours Per Week (Exact Schedule To Be Discussed)
Compensation: up to $36.668 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct health assessment of residential clients to include risk assessment of communicable diseases
- Review documents to ensure immunizations and TB results are current.
- Coordinate with Medical Provider(s) to assist with client care and follow-up.
- Assist with coordinating pharmacy services.
- Provide in-services when necessary and help provide trainings to include but not limited to TB, HIV/AIDS, Blood Bourne Pathogens and universal precautions for infection control
- Order medication as per Doctor's order
- Administer Vivitrol injections and follow Vivitrol protocols
- Serve as Health Care Coordinator
- Provide health & wellness education to clients
- License (required): RN certifications, and Valid Driver's License required
- 5 years nursing experience preferred
- A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Responsible and compassionate
- Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Patient with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Able to adapt to varying situations
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times
