Duties * You will develop a quality assurance (QA) plan for supporting the acquisition, production, maintenance, storage, and supply for an organization. * You will advise management of problems affecting quality assurance (QA) program processes. * You will conduct follow-up audit to verify that corrective or preventive action has been implemented. * You will use quality assurance (QA) methods, principles, and practices to identify cause of defects, failures, deficiencies, and cost effectiveness of assigned programs. * You will serve as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) which plays a vital role in the administration, execution, and technical oversight of contracts. * You will develop, administer, evaluate, and coordinate a comprehensive aircraft maintenance quality assurance programs designed to ensure that contractor maintenance, overhaul, and modification of products meet contractual requirements for quality. * You will review contractor quality control plans, procedures, and practices in accordance with International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9110 precepts, and contract specific directives to assure adequacy. * You will Identify, analyze, and provide solutions pertaining to acquisitions and quality for all aircraft systems and aircraft training systems/instruction. * You will monitor and provide guidance and recommendations for contractor production challenges and shortfalls. * You will serve as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) which plays a vital role in the administration, execution, and technical oversight of contracts. * You will plan and develop the overall plans and approaches based on technical requirements, monitoring the application and effectiveness of controls and methods, and adjusting quality assurance activities as indicated by quality data trends.
