**Overview**M Health Fairview has an immediate opening for a Medical Assistant/LPN at the M Health Fairview River Falls Urgent Care Clinic located in River Falls, WI. The MHealth Fairview River Falls Urgent Care Clinic is a growing and collaborative clinic with excellent opportunities for growth!This is a 0.2 FTE opening (16 Hours Per Two Week Pay Period).**Responsibilities Job Description**As a member of the patient care team, a Medical Assistant supports quality patient- and family-centered care principles through performing a variety of high standard functions within a care team to support the needs of the healthcare team and patients/families. The Medical Assistant will collect information and detail the patient's visit. MA's are responsible for adhering to policies, procedures and practice guidelines; promoting communication with all members of the team, maintaining complete, timely and accurate clinical documentation for each patient and continually looking for opportunities to improve processes and workflow.Medical Assistants deliver care as delegated by the patients Physicians, or RN. They are able to prioritize work based on need, available resources, patient preferences, provider schedule, and work in collaboration with the physician/authorized practitioner as well as other health care team members. You may also perform high, and low risk, technical procedures during your daily work which could include: medication administration, assistance with CPR, assistance with procedures which may include lab drawsWe find that those who excel in this role are also able to: Easily communicates compliance and concerns to others involved with patient care Partner with patient and/or care-giver in care/decision making Engage in change to improve the work environment and patient experience Recognizes when different approaches may be needed based on age or cultural differences Takes action to assure continuity of care for all assigned patient**Qualifications****Required** Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or LPN is required. Basic Life Support Certification is required.**Preferred** Ambulatory Care Experience is preferred.
