I have an immediate need for an in-home bilingual (Spanish & English) elementary Spanish tutor for a family in the outskirts of Woodland by the corner or Aviator Road and Skyview Road; not far from The Empress Estate Wedding & Event. The family is asking for a tutor who is fluent in both English and Spanish. The students are four siblings. Two siblings are in 5th grade and two are in 2nd grade. They all need to work with a tutor on their Spanish.

All four students were in a dual immersion program but the school district recently cut that program and the parents would like their children to continue Spanish lessons. The eldest two are brothers in 5th grade attending Woodland Middle School. The youngest two children are 2nd graders attending Columbia Elementary School.

The two oldest brothers (5th grade) are at a more intermediate level in Spanish. The two 2nd graders are more on the beginner level in Spanish. The parents want the tutor to do 1 hour sessions with each age group (two hours total each visit) considering that they they have different levels of fluency. They want the tutor to continue working learning the Spanish language with both groups of students.

The goal for all the students is for each of them to become conversational in Spanish at least and fluent in Spanish at best.

The family wants 2 hour sessions (1 hr per grade level/group) once a week on Wednesday between 4pm-8pm.

Job Requirements

• Tutor must be willing to work in-person, face to face at the student's home in the outskirts of Woodland by the corner or Aviator Road and Skyview Road; not far from The Empress Estate Wedding & Event.
• Tutor must be bilingual in Spanish & English.
• Tutor must be available for 2 hour sessions once a week on Wednesday between 4pm-8pm.
• Minimal travel required to meet with student (you decide the distance you are willing to travel, typically 5-10 miles)
• Due to insurance requirements applicants must not be a minor.
