Automotive Detailer / Shop Maintenance

Since 1973, Highland Body Shop has had a reputation for being one of the highest quality repair facilities in Northwest Indiana. An ideal candidate would be skilled at working with their hands and have an eye for detail. They must be motivated and customer service oriented. They should be reliable and good at time management.

Essential Job Functions:

• Shop Cleaning and Maintenance
• Maintain Paint Booths
• Polish completed vehicles
• Detail vehicles for delivery
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Reliable
• Highly detailed and motivated
• Exceptional customer service
• Valid driver’s license required
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Prior Body Shop experience a plus, but not required
• Prefer prior wet sand and buff experience.

Hours:

• Fulltime
• 7:30am-5:30pm; Monday – Friday, Saturdays as needed
• Typically 7.5 hours of overtime, each week; paid at time and ½
