- Designs, develops, installs, implements and integrates relational databases including user interfaces for the conduct of clinical research.
- Converts electronic data from original formats into system-compatible formats.
- Creates technical and non-technical documentation.
- Supports staff and management users.
- Monitors database system availability and overall functionality and optimizes database performance.
- Tests and maintains relational database software including patches, updates and upgrades and related hardware.
- Establishes and coordinates database user access and privileges.
- Participates as a team member on database design and development projects.
- Assists Compliance Team with coordination of regulatory activities such as development of electronic source documents including informed consent forms in preparation for submission to the IRB.
- Provides ongoing database support to study teams including COMP research staff, physicians, and internal/external stakeholders.
- Provides continual database support including updates to existing projects to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Additional duties may be assigned.
