Summary:Sleep Lab Manager will oversee the operations of our sleep lab facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sleep medicine, excellent managerial skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. Manage the day-to-day operations of the sleep lab, including scheduling, staffing, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Education: Level I – Personnel are designated as those with a high school education and formal credentialing in polysomnographic technology and professional credentialing or licensing. Personnel meet minimal job requirements and have received on-the-job polysomnographic training.
Licensure: Personnel should meet all the above requirements and should also be a graduate of an AMA accredited associate degree Program in Respiratory Care or the equivalent. Must be nationally certified or certification eligible and hold a valid license from the State of Rhode Island.
Experience: Prior experience required.
Working Conditions, Physical Environment and/or Safety Requirements: Clean, well-lit, well ventilated area. Exposed daily to disagreeable odors, sights, bodily waste and contaminated equipment. May be exposed to infectious diseases and/or bodily harm from combative patients. Must follow all safety regulations, Infection Control policies, and Universal precautions. Regular staff will be required to work the hours hired. Per-Diem staff are required to work 6 nights/week as the needs of the department demand.
