Production Manager

We are currently looking for a Production Manager to join our team in Szczecin.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations (manage and coordinate all production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets, ensure production schedules are met efficiently and on time).
• Optimize production processes (identify areas for process improvement and implement cost-effective solutions, monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives - lean manufacturing, Kaizen).
• Team leadership and management (lead, train, and supervise production staff to ensure high performance and morale, conduct performance evaluations and manage staffing needs, including hiring and training.
• Ensure quality and safety (implement and monitor quality assurance programs to meet industry standards, maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with safety regulations).
• Resource and inventory management (oversee inventory levels, materials supply, and equipment maintenance to avoid production delays, collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure efficient resource allocation).
• Collaborate across departments (work closely with engineering, maintenance, and logistics teams to ensure smooth production flow, communicate regularly with senior management on production status, challenges, and results).
• Manage budgets and cost control (develop and manage production budgets, keeping costs in line with company targets, track and report on production expenses, identifying areas for cost savings).
  
  

Your Profile

• Education (degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations, or related field preferred, certifications like Lean Six Sigma or PMP are a plus).
• Technical expertise (strong understanding of production processes, techniques, planning, workflow management and industry standards, familiarity with manufacturing software (e.g., ERP, MES) and data analysis tools).
• Leadership and people management (proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams, strong interpersonal skills for managing teams and collaborating with other departments, conflict resolution and decision-making capabilities).
• Problem-solving and analytical skills (analytical mindset for process optimization and cost reduction, experience tracking production metrics and implementing improvements).
• Quality and safety (experience with quality control (ISO, Six Sigma) and continuous improvement, knowledge of safety regulations and compliance).
