Data Engineer (m/f/d) - Supply Data Solutions

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Supply Data Solutions Team, dedicated to building and maintaining high-impact data products. In this role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders to develop reliable and well-engineered solutions that drive insights and optimize business processes. What you will do

• Build and maintain data pipelines that deliver actionable insights through various channels (Excel reports, BigQuery tables, Looker dashboards)
• Develop practical optimization solutions for business challenges
• Own your data products end-to-end: from infrastructure as code to production monitoring
• Write efficient Python code using AWS (Lambda, Batch, Step Functions)
• Design and implement robust data models that serve business needs
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure deployments using GitLab and CloudFormation
• Work directly with business stakeholders to understand their needs and implement effective solutions
• Monitor and improve systems proactively
• Mentor junior colleagues
  
  

Who you are

• Strong software engineering background with solid programming fundamentals
• Experience in building maintainable, production-grade applications
• Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
• Solid understanding of SQL and data modeling principles
• Experience with cloud services (AWS/GCP) and version control (Git)
• Proactive mindset and ability to identify improvement opportunities
• Understanding of data warehouse concepts and best practices
