The Role
We are a small, dynamic team based in Frankfurt, specializing in real estate investments across office, residential, student housing, and select other asset types. As a private equity firm, we leverage deep market knowledge and a collaborative approach to identify and execute high-impact opportunities, particularly within value-add funds and similar real estate investment strategies.
The working student will have significant responsibilities from day one and become an integral part of the team, with high levels of interaction with senior management, external contractors and support functions. High performing previous working students have become permanent hires into the Ardian team.
Key Responsibilities For The Working Student Will Include
- Asset Management
- Oversee the implementation of refurbishment measures as established in the business plan, ensuring timely execution and adherence to budgets.
- Contribute to leasing activities with new and existing tenants.
- Work with property and facility managers to ensure effective management, operational efficiency, and tenant satisfaction.
- Track and report key performance metrics, including internal and external reporting to stakeholders and investors, ensuring timely and transparent communication.
- Collaborate with internal teams and communicate with board members to keep them informed and aligned with the project’s objectives and progress.
- Fund Management Support:
- Assist in fund-level performance reporting and valuation updates.
- Support the preparation of materials for investor relations, including quarterly reports and annual reviews.
- Manage ad-hoc projects, including preparing investor presentations and supporting fundraising initiatives.
- Participation in internal and external meetings
- Support with ad hoc requests

Required Skills
- Strong affinity for Real Estate, especially on construction and management aspects
- The candidate should possess a broad set of quantitative, qualitative and interpersonal skills, and be a strong team player
- Intellectual rigor and discipline; ability to organize and perform work efficiently
- Knowledge of Real Estate value drivers, Real Estate KPIs as well as competency in excel, word and powerpoint
- Fluency in German and English
Profile
- Currently pursuing or completed a degree either in architecture, construction engineering or a real estate degree completed from a leading university
- At least one previous internship in one of the following areas would be beneficial:
- Project Management
- (Technical) Asset Management
- Real Estate development
