We are looking for an experienced and skilled Finance Manager to join our management team in Germany! In this role, you will oversee financial operations, ensuring smooth processes and compliance while driving employee engagement and organizational success. This is a managerial position, reporting directly to the General Manager of Bünger & Frese and the EMEA Distribution team, as part of the International Maytronics Group.

As part of the job responsibilities:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reporting package in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and budget controlling working closely with local teams and the global finance department.
Support the local management team with financial insights and performance monitoring.
Optimize cash flow management, working capital, and financial risk mitigation
Collaborate with banks,
Ensure compliance with German tax regulations, corporate laws, working with external tax advisors and regulatory authorities as necessary.
Coordinate with HR and external payroll providers to ensure proper payroll accounting, payment and compliance with local labor laws.
Handle employee inquiries related to payroll, taxation, social security, and labor laws. Collaborate with HR to provide relevant responses.
Manage anddevelop a small finance team (2 employees)fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, develop team skills with a problem-solving approach.
Implement and oversee Internal Controls and reporting processes to ensure compliance with both Maytronics group and the local German regulations.
Your qualifications and strengths:
Master's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
Experience in IFRS accounting and their application in Financial Statements.
10 years' professional experience in finance or accounting in a global company including ideally at least 3 years at a management level.
German native speaker and fluency in English.
Leadership, Team spirit and efficient communication.
Experienced in project and/or change management.
Up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations, payroll tax, social security, labor law in Germany.
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with financial systems : advanced Excel, accounting software, BI for data analysis.
Independent, structured and well-organized working style.
