We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team in the automotive sector. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and improve quality control processes, drive continuous improvement, and maintain compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

What to expect:

• Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 9001)
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Utilize 8D methodology for problem-solving and customer complaint management
• Apply Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to assess potential risks in product and process design
• Lead Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Measurement System Analysis (MSA) to monitor and improve process performance
• Conduct and support internal and external audits (e.g., VDA 6.3, supplier audits, customer audits)
• Ensure compliance with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure adherence to quality standards and drive supplier quality improvements
• Analyze and report key quality metrics, including PPM (Parts per Million), First Pass Yield (FPY), and Defect Rate
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement (Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma) initiatives
• Support product launch activities and drive quality assurance in new product development
  
  
  

What you bring along:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field)
• 3 years of experience in quality engineering within the automotive industry
• Strong knowledge of automotive quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, VDA 6.3)
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and 8D methodologies
• Proficiency in problem-solving tools such as 5-Why, Ishikawa (Fishbone), and PDCA
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience working with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers is a plus
• Proficiency in quality-related software and tools (e.g., Minitab, SAP, QMS software)
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) is an advantage
• Fluent in English; additional language skills (e.g., German)
