Private Equity Associate

They are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Associate to join their dynamic team.

Role Overview

As a Private Equity Associate, you will play a key role in identifying, analyzing, and executing investment opportunities. You will work closely with senior team members on deal sourcing, financial modeling, due diligence, and portfolio management. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional with a strong background in investment banking, consulting, or private equity to advance their career in a fast-paced and intellectually stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct industry research and market analysis to identify potential investment opportunities.
• Perform financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence on prospective deals.
• Assist in structuring and negotiating investment transactions.
• Collaborate with portfolio companies to drive value creation and operational improvements.
• Prepare investment memos, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends and contribute to strategic decision-making processes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 4 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, strategy consulting, or transaction services.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, including LBO and DCF analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of corporate finance, M&A transactions, and investment strategies.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ).
• Fluency in English and German is highly preferred.
