Relationship Manager, Citywire Switzerland

Citywire, a leading company in financial market intelligence, is looking for a Relationship Manager (m/f/d) to expand and strengthen our network of professional investors in Switzerland.

Based in Munich, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key fund selectors across Switzerland’s asset management industry, including retail banks, private banks, wealth managers, pension funds, and family offices.

What you’ll be doing:

-Develop and maintain strong long-term relationships with key fund buyers, portfolio managers, wealth managers, and investors across different financial sectors – from banks to family offices.

-Work closely with our events team to identify the best events for our clients and invite them to attend. You will also participate in high-profile industry events to connect directly with our audience.

-Contribute to project development and gain insights from client conversations to identify new ideas and trends that drive Citywire’s market development.

-Present and promote Citywire’s products, including events, publications, advertising, and research, to clients while strengthening our brand presence.

-Deepen your understanding of the financial industry and our investor community through close collaboration with colleagues and regular client meetings.

What we’re looking for:

-Language Proficiency: Native level/ very fluent French, both written and spoken, alongside English and German to a professional proficiency, to engage effectively with diverse audiences.

-Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

-Proactive Mindset: A self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive projects forward without constant supervision.

-Excellent Communication Skills: Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to engage, influence, and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.

-Adaptability and Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel extensively to Switzerland to strengthen relationships and represent Citywire at key industry events.

-Performance Under Pressure: Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

-Market Awareness: A solid understanding of or strong interest in financial markets, investment funds, and wealth management, with a desire to continuously expand industry knowledge.
