Conexus are partnered with a global pharmaceutical client, who have big IoT projects ongoing, as part of their journey to modernise their digital landscape. On that basis, we are searching for a Senior Enterprise Architect, with strong experience in IoT to join them on a permanent basis in Frankfurt, Germany.
You'll be working closely with the Head of Enterprise Architecture to define and implement frameworks, strategies, and best practices that enable digital transformation. Your key focus will be on integrating IoT solutions and enhancing the enterprise's architecture landscape, particularly in manufacturing.
Lead the design and deployment of IoT solutions, including edge computing, device connectivity, and cloud-based platforms.
Drive business architecture initiatives, especially in the Manufacturing and IoT space.
Collaborate with both Business and IT stakeholders to leverage IoT data for analytics, visualisation, and actionable insights.
Apply architectural frameworks (e.g. TOGAF) tailored to the specific needs of Manufacturing and IoT.
Create, document, and maintain business architecture artifacts consistently.
Support architecture governance processes and ensure alignment with enterprise-wide objectives.
Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing between business and IT teams.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Business, or related fields.
7-10 years of relevant experience in enterprise architecture.
Proven ability to lead complex architecture projects and deliver tangible business value.
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and frameworks (TOGAF, etc.).
Expertise in IoT technologies and manufacturing processes - including smart devices, sensors, Industry 4.0, automation, and cloud computing.
Experience developing end-to-end IoT solutions with knowledge of protocols and tools like MQTT.
Fluency in English is essential.
