Senior Application Engineer

Job Title: Application Engineer (m/f/d)

Location: Olten, Switzerland

Languages: Fluent English required. Fluent German or French is essential.

Salary Range: CHF 80K – 140K (

Overview:

Join a high-tech semiconductor company developing precision timing and control components for global industries. This role places you at the interface between product engineering and the customer—solving real-world challenges and ensuring seamless system integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electronic components, assemblies, and firmware.
• Act as the technical point of contact for international customers, guiding issue resolution and system integration.
• Support design-in activities in collaboration with R&D, sales, and production teams.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, test reports, and support materials.
• Deliver on-site training and technical support where required.

Candidate Profile:

• Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Solid experience in digital/analog electronics, PCB development, and embedded/firmware debugging.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• Fluent in English, with fluent spoken and written proficiency in either German or French.
• Able to ramp up quickly and thrive in a cost-aware, quality-driven environment.
