DP World is seeking a dedicated professional to support the implementation and delivery of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) across our European operations. In this pivotal role, you'll work alongside the sustainability programme lead to oversee the implementation of the German Supply Chain Act and support our human rights and modern slavery initiatives. As a
Sustainability Reporting Manager (f/m/d) for Germany, you’ll manage the audit of our non-financial statements and engage with external auditors and senior management, ensuring alignment with key sustainability frameworks including CSRD, ISSB, TCFD, and TNFD.

This role is recruited remotely within Europe.
How You Will Contribute
- Supporting the Delivery of Our CSRD Report: Contribute to the successful compilation and delivery of DP World’s comprehensive CSRD report, ensuring alignment with European regulations.
- Shaping Our Sustainability Reporting Approach: Collaborate with the sustainability team and wider business units to innovate and enhance DP World’s sustainability reporting practices in Europe, identifying opportunities for excellence in reporting.
- Improving Internal Processes: Streamline internal processes and governance structures for corporate reporting, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in data management.
- Defining Reporting Principles: Establish clear reporting principles and document policies through comprehensive guidelines to standardize our sustainability reporting efforts.
- Setting Up Internal Processes for CSRD Data: Facilitate the development of internal procedures for managing CSRD-related data and integrate it into our non-financial internal control systems.
- Supporting ISSB IFRS Compliance: Assist in ensuring full compliance with ISSB IFRS reporting while preparing consolidated financial statements, including detailed notes on specific items.
- Engaging with Stakeholders: Actively engage with both internal and external stakeholders to guide CSRD, ISSB, and IFRS-related work streams, fostering a collaborative working environment.
- Creating Transition Pathway Disclosures: Contribute to the creation and launch of transition pathway disclosures and help develop climate and nature-related risk assessments in line with ISSB and CSRD requirements.
- Conducting Horizon Scanning: Continuously enhance our strategy and understanding of financial and non-financial reporting by monitoring trends, regulations, and policies, gathering insights from other companies, SMEs, and governments, while staying informed of the latest developments in the sustainability landscape.
What You Will Bring
- Degree or Master's Degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Auditing, Reporting, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in corporate reporting, focusing on:
- Financial and non-financial reporting management.
- Adherence to evolving regulatory requirements (e.g., CSRD, EU Taxonomy).
- Relevant reporting standards/frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD).
- Knowledge of IFRS with the capacity to develop into an IFRS expert over time.
- Experience in a corporate environment, audit firm, or consultancy.
- Confidence to manage complex cross-functional projects effectively.
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
