PLC Automation Engineer Siemens
Your tasks
Design and programming of control systems for industrial units using TIA Portal
Coordination of program-technical commissioning - at the customer's site, at home or abroad
Further development and optimization of existing production software
Technical documentation of the developed systems and processes
Mentoring and support of less experienced team members
Improving code quality and maintainability
Your profile
At least 5 years of professional experience in PLC programming and commissioning of special purpose machines and production units with Siemens Simatic controllers
Advanced knowledge in handling TIA-Portal from V14 and all common programming languages of PLC programming (KOP/FUP/SCL/GRAPH)
Experience in programming and commissioning of external devices as well as in programming of drivers/standard blocks
Knowledge of library management in TIA as well as in HMI programming
Confident handling of technology objects of Siemens controllers
High willingness to travel internationally
Good German
