For our production location in Cuijk, we are looking for a Unit Controller to join the team!
Our Cuijk site (around 260 FTE) is responsible for recycling, producing and converting paper into tissue-products for the Netherlands and Central Europe markets.
As our factory Unit Controller in Cuijk you will be the business partner for our Converting and International Distribution Center units. You will get to know the units inside out to ensure a solid partnership and understanding of our business. You challenge the business and ensure you add value through asking the right questions and analysis.
You will be part of a small controlling team, reporting to the Site Controller.

What You Will Do
- Act as a Role Model for Safety.
- Act as a business partner for the operational departments.
- Analyses cost drivers in detail, follow up on gap analyses.
- Steers the month end closing processes in collaboration with the Global manufacturing team.
- Coordinates and prepare the annual budget and quarterly forecast for the respective departments.
- Follows up on financial targets and achievements.
- Supports audit process (year end audit & interim audit).
- Understands and challenge impact on inventory regarding changing's in BOM’s and production plans.
- Executes update of pricing and execute pricing calculations based on requests form market, and input from stakeholders in plant (MIL and IDC)
- Continuously improve controlling systems and services within the Site.
- Roll out and/or support in driving harmonized processes in Sites.
- Operates according to Corporate and business Group financial guidelines and to legal rules / accounting guidelines and educates persons involved in compliance to MICR (internal control) and executes system reconciliation.
- Ad hoc controlling support where financial expertise is required on local and European level.
- Part of the Controlling Network. Implementing best practices and help further streamlining processes.
Who You Are
- Bachelor degree with focus on financial/controlling background or a comparable education
- Preferable you have experience in controlling (similar position/trainee ship) within a production environment
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize workload and take initiative
- Open minded and flexible team player
- Stress resistance, persistence and ability to manage conflicts
- Advanced skills SAP R3 Fi/Co, SAP Business Warehouse and excellent MS Excel skills
- Fluent English communication skills (verbal and written) on all levels of the organization.
- Able to speak and understand the Dutch language
