Field Application Engineer (m/f/d) - Sensors / signal processing / C

We are proud to be partnered with a leading technology innovator in the sensor business. We are looking for a midsize company around Stuttgart, who is looking for a Field Application Engineer to support their customers, the sales team, and their distribution partners in the design of products with special focus on ultrasonic flow converters, flow modules and sensor interfaces.The ideal candidate should have already 3 years experience in a customer interface role.

Please not, we can only consider candidates, who are already based in Germany or with a valid work permit for Germany.

Ideal profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics, Master is welcome
• Good knowledge of physics and signal processing related to sensor systems.
• Considerable know-how in electronics development (hardware and software)
• Good knowledge of programming languages (C , ideally Assembler, Labview)
• Strong ability to identify technical problems and solution strategies.
• Able to adapt to a very dynamic work environment and changing customer requirements.
• Good negotiation and communication skills as well as good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Business fluency in English is mandatory, German is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical support to distribution partners and/or directly to customers in Europe and the Americas.
• Close interaction with the Sales team, the distribution partners, and the engineering team on a consistent basis.
• On-site support and trainings while travelling within EMEA and AMEC.
• Responding to technical customer questions, conducting schematic & layout reviews, creating sample software.
• Reproduction and verification of customer requests and identification of solutions.
• Develop and produce application notes and instructional (or demo) videos.
