To support our growth, we are looking for an experienced Head of Data (f/m/d) to expand and lead our data organization. Reporting to the CFO, you will drive value creation through data insights, web analytics, AI-powered personalization and customer-facing data products. You will manage a team of data professionals and collaborate with stakeholders across the company, particularly the CFO and CTO, to deliver impactful results.
Your Responsibilities
The ideal candidate has been a Head of Data for 3 years with 7 years of work experience, looking to increase their responsibility and drive a company-critical data function.
Build and lead a data team (data engineers, analytics engineers, analysts).
Build a data lake and web tracking capabilities, enabling a data-lake-first 360° Customer Data Platform (CDP).
Optimize customer journeys and enable AI-driven personalization.
Define and track KPIs to track value creation, support financial planning, sales and operations
Support customer service automation through the CDP.
Create data analytics products for customers and partners.
Establish data governance policies and ensure stakeholder alignment.
Actively drive value creation through data-driven solutions.
Qualifikationen
Experience with data sets spanning billions of rows, dbt, ETL tools (e.g., Fivetran), and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker), ideally also orchestration tools such as Airflow or Prefect.
Knowledge of web tracking tools (e.g., Snowplow) and cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks).
Expertise in SQL, Python and ideally also Spark.
A/B testing, personalization and experience with large language models is a plus.
Hands-on problem solver.
Strong commercial drive
Proven leadership in managing data teams and aligning stakeholders.
