GE Vernova is looking for an innovative Sustainability & CSR Manager to spearhead sustainability strategies for GSI projects in Berlin. Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the central point of contact for ESG and sustainability topics within GSI projects, coordinating with internal teams and addressing stakeholder inquiries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the supply chain to ensure compliance with sustainability requirements.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy aligned with GE Vernova’s frameworks.
• Establish guidelines and processes for contractors through Sustainability Management Plans.
• Lead data collection, verification, and reporting of sustainability metrics.
• Drive decarbonization efforts and oversee project-specific sustainability initiatives.
• Collaborate across GE Vernova business units to ensure alignment and identify synergies.
• Track progress on GRID-specific sustainability strategies and report results to stakeholders.
• Support commercial teams in responding to customer inquiries related to sustainability.
• Promote sustainability practices through effective communication strategies and educational initiatives for employees and external stakeholders.
  
  

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Management, or Economics or other related areas.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sustainability roles within an industrial setting; GRID or power generation industry experience is advantageous.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal); German proficiency is a plus.
• Proven ability to develop and execute sustainability strategies while managing complex projects with multiple priorities.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with excellent communication abilities in multicultural environments.
• Proficiency in IT tools for reporting/documentation and demonstrated leadership skills to engage cross-functional teams effectively.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
