Vice President M&A (w/f/d) Corporate Finance

Our client is a growing, entrepreneurially driven and leading private bank with a strong European footprint. Focused on delivering high-quality M&A and corporate finance advisory services, its investment banking entity supports a diverse client base ranging from private equity investors to mid-sized and listed companies.

Your responsibilities:

As a Vice President, you will play a central role in the execution of deals and the growth of the bank’s M&A advisory practice.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions from initial engagement to closing
• Acting as the first point of contact for clients, advisors, and stakeholders throughout the deal process
• Preparing and overseeing key deliverables such as financial models, information memoranda, and client presentations
• Managing, mentoring, and empowering junior team members
• Expediting business development initiatives in close collaboration with the senior management
• Building deep industry expertise in selected core sectors
• Contributing to the overall strategic development of the team and bank

Your know-how

• Strong academic background in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in a M&A related field, preferably with an investment banking, a tier 1 strategy consultancy or a BIG 4 firm
• Profound financial modeling and valuation skills (DCF, precedent transactions, trading comparables, etc.)
• Sector knowledge in healthcare, technology, industrial goods or logistics
• Proven project management capabilities with the ability to lead multiple workstreams under tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills in both English and German
• High attention to detail and a strong sense of leadership and responsibility
• A highly collaborative mindset with the ability to lead and inspire teams
